Game itself is great for a price. It is filled with interesting PvE content. It has an interesting take on a genre. It has sooo much to do.
Game is interesting and good, but decisions taken by its developers are questionable. When there are plenty of high quality TCG and TCG-like games in the market for free, making one paid is a very bad idea. It is hard enough for a game to stand out on its own and to keep its fanbase even alive. Locking game from paywall is puzzling decision as it makes difficult for game to grow and rapid decline in population afterwards confirms that game is rapidly dying which is a shame since it is a damn good game. There is also an issue that this is 20 euro title with DLC and in game transactions WITH which seems to be F2P game grind model. I had played this game for two hours now and phase of progress is extremely slow, I’m playing solely with basic decks and I literally are lacking cards to replace cards in said deck which I consider to be turds. While developers and others remark as pay and grind model as least fair, for veteran gamer like me, it is annoyingly limiting at first.
Personally, I do not like limited land control in this game. I wish that land interplay would be deeper. It also does not seem to be quite well balanced between mana, cards and types, often enemy being able to spam specific land type despite you going for aggressive plains rush. RNG is also broken. Recently I put 1/0 buff producing factory and a farm boy. Buff should be applied randomly, yet farm boy receives this buff most of the time if you place them together. There is also lack of GUI which would tell what does what on the card as some indicators are not clear like for example combined mana cost or that rainbow number next to certain minions.
